I fell in love with Cherry Grove the very first time I stepped on the boardwalk in 1972 (as a mere babe of course) and could not wait to come back. Like many, I day tripped for a few years until in 1975 I finally enjoyed my first season, with the love of my life, Max Killingsworth. It did not take long for me to really settle in and become involved with the Community I loved and found that outlet in the Arts Project. I immediately became involved. I became the 1st Homecoming Queen in 1976 and was nominated to serve on the Board of Directors by 1978. I never left!
