My role?
I do what I am told to do by Panzi and especially Anita. This includes volunteering, setting up for the shows, dismantling after shows, carrying thousands of ice cubes up to the bar (not one at a time), and helping coordinate many events — and bringing a fresh young perspective to the board!
What brought me to Fire Island?
John Eberhardt, aka “Uncle John,” was a longtime friend of my parents. When I was about six, he came to my first and last talent show.
