FIRE ISLAND, NY — The inaugural Grove & Pines Film Festival will take place September 18–20, 2026 across Cherry Grove and Fire Island Pines, celebrating queer storytelling through film, comedy, live events, and community gatherings in one of America’s most historic LGBTQ+ destinations.
Founded as a nonprofit cultural initiative, the three-day festival will spotlight LGBTQ+ voices across narrative, documentary, episodic, experimental, and short-form storytelling while creating a festival experience rooted in both cinema and connection. Programming will include feature films, shorts programs, filmmaker conversations, live comedy, beach gatherings, late-night events, and closing celebrations throughout the weekend.
