Thanks so much for applying to the first ever Rainbow Connection Summer Theater Intensive!
The Arts Project of Cherry Grove is looking for LGBTQ+ older adults 60+ years and preferably long-standing members of the Cherry Grove community. Your involvement with the program can be flexible based on your interest, expertise, availability, mobility, etc. There are 3 ways to be involved: 1. You may submit a personal story for dramatization 2. perform solo in your own vignette 3. collaborate
with the young adults for the whole two week intensive.
Rainbow Connection will take place in the Cherry Grove Community House from approximately 10-11 AM until 6-7 PM, depending on the ferry schedule with a break for lunch. Lunch will be provided free of charge by the Cherry Grove Pizza Parlor.
There will be a free, community preview on Friday, July 29th at 8:30 PM and a fundraising gala on Saturday, July 30th at 8:30 PM
You MUST be vaccinated for Covid-19 to participate in the program.

The Arts Project of Cherry Grove is looking for LGBTQ+ young adults, especially people of color, between the ages of 16 – 20. You should have a passion for musical theater, a strong work ethic, a collaborative nature and a willingness to share raw emotion and personal experiences.
Rainbow Connection will take place in the Cherry Grove Community House from approximately 10-11 AM until 6-7 PM, depending on the ferry schedule with a break for lunch. Lunch will be provided free of charge by the Cherry Grove Pizza Parlor.
Daily roundtrip ferry tickets will be provided free of charge.
